The Senior Agentic AI Engineer - Conversational AI joins a global engineering team to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade conversational and agentic AI solutions. This role involves leading onshore and offshore development teams while performing hands-on solution design, architecture, and development based on client requirements. The engineer will build scalable AI-powered applications, focusing on voice bots, chat bots, and agentic AI orchestration. Key technologies include AWS Lex, AWS Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, AWS Strands SDK, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, IAM, and CloudWatch. Core competencies include intent modeling, prompt engineering, NLU concepts, tool calling, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation. The work centers on solving business problems through production-grade Generative AI applications, ensuring secure deployment patterns, performance tuning, and implementing responsible AI controls.

What we're looking for
10-14 years of experience in software engineering, solution design, and technical leadership delivering enterprise-scale conversational or Generative AI solutions.
Experience with AWS Lex, AWS Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, and AWS Strands SDK/Framework.
Proficiency in voice bot and chat bot development, intent modeling, conversation design, and NLU concepts.
Experience with LLM application development, tool calling, function calling, and agent workflows.
Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, IAM, and CloudWatch.
Experience building production-grade Generative AI applications using Amazon Bedrock and orchestrating AI agents.
Experience securing enterprise AI agents using guardrails, prompt injection mitigation, and responsible AI controls.
AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified AI Practitioner or AWS Certified AI Engineer (preferred).
