What you'll do

  • Design and integrate distributed control architectures for complex instrumentation platforms.
  • Develop EPICS IOCs and operator interfaces using Phoebus or CSS.
  • Implement automation for system management using tools like Ansible.
  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and cybersecurity protocols.
  • Perform system validation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure high quality standards.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with Linux system administration including servers, IOCs, and containers.
  • Experience with EPICS or similar DCS/SCADA frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible.
  • Knowledge of networking and distributed systems.
  • Experience with Git and version control.
