Controls Room - Product Owner - Vice President leads a team of Product Owners within the Control Management organization to transform the control management technology ecosystem. This role involves driving key changes through innovative technology, frameworks, and processes while managing cross-functional teams through the full product development lifecycle. You will build AI-first features, oversee the development of new applications, and manage long-term roadmaps to improve efficiency. Key responsibilities include translating high-level strategy into actionable user stories, managing backlogs, and leading rapid prototyping. You will utilize agile practices, the Pizza POD model, and tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, JIRA, Tableau, Alteryx, and Python. The work focuses on empowering the three lines of defense with risk-based intelligence by collecting and monitoring firmwide risk-based information.
Lead cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle to deliver against technology roadmaps.
Ensure the product roadmap is AI-first by embedding intelligent assistance and automation into end-user experiences.
Deliver iteratively using agile practices and small teams to accelerate time-to-value through rapid prototyping.
Translate high-level strategy and stakeholder requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.
Manage relationships with business leads and stakeholders to build and maintain long-term product roadmaps.
Provide subject matter expertise and impact analysis to influence end-to-end implementation across the Controls Room teams.
Establish and track success metrics to measure ROI and business value for all product investments.
Support go-to-market and change management efforts including launch planning, training, and post-launch support.
What we're looking for
Product Management background with 5+ years of experience owning and delivering products across the full lifecycle.
Advanced experience translating complex user requests into technical requirements using agile methodology and tools like JIRA.
Experience delivering iteratively using agile practices and small, empowered teams to accelerate time-to-value.
Experience with AI-assisted development and prototyping tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
Hands-on experience incorporating AI-enabled capabilities into products with an emphasis on control, transparency, and auditability.
Ability to lead customer discovery to translate user needs into a prioritized roadmap and clear value proposition.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Knowledge of data analytics and AI tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or Python (preferred); experience in financial industry, auditing, compliance, or consulting (preferred).
