Controls Engineer Mobility Specialist

What you'll do

• Develop and implement control solutions for various powerpack configurations including engine, transmission, and cooling systems.
• Design and integrate components, actuators, and sensor subsystems into mobility systems.
• Manage the development of technical artifacts for conventional, hybrid, and fully electric powertrains.
• Liaise with suppliers to manage the integration of powerpack modules and components.
• Create electrical schematics and design electrical harnesses for vehicle systems.
• Develop software requirements and collaborate with software teams on full-stack controls development.
• Perform data collection and analysis to support system testing and troubleshooting.
• Document findings and report outcomes to program stakeholders, customers, and organizational leadership.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar engineering discipline.
• 5 to 7 years of engineering experience.
• Experience working with industrial controls.
• Experience in electrical and controls subsystem design, integration, troubleshooting, and testing.
• Expertise in mobility systems, electro-mechanical design, drive-by-wire, and HV/LV power distribution.
• Proficiency in CANbus, Ethernet, electrical schematic design, and full stack controls development.
• Ability to develop technical documentation and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Eligibility to obtain a U.S. security clearance (must be a U.S. citizen).
