What you'll do

Design, develop, and test mechanical components and subsystems for sighting and sensor systems.
Develop engineering design fixes and coordinate technical solutions.
Support fabrication, assembly, integration, component selection, and procurement processes.
Troubleshoot and build prototype hardware.
Review analysis, design modeling, hardware requirements, and test plans.
Maintain records for tracking design changes and hardware revisions.

What we're looking for

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited 4-year university or college.
Attained at least a sophomore status based on university class standing requirements at the start of the internship.
Must be a U.S. Person (i.e. a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.).
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to complete a minimum of a full-time, 3-month assignment.
Basic proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to use Engineering Development and Test Tools.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.
Strong multi-tasking skills.
GPA of 3.0 or higher (preferred).
Familiarity with Military Standards and Test Requirements (preferred).
Knowledge in areas such as vehicle harness design, circuit design, or PCB layout (preferred).
Familiarity with Pro Engineer or similar CAD systems (preferred).
