Continuous Monitoring Analyst

What you'll do

• Analyze system changes to determine security impact and evaluate the effectiveness of security controls.
• Monitor enterprise and system-level security controls using tools like Axonius, Splunk, ACAS, and HBSS/ESS.
• Develop and maintain the DISA RE5 ConMon Strategy and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Perform automated and manual monitoring of information systems to provide real-time security status reports.
• Design and manage reusable dashboards to track system health, performance, and compliance data.
• Create alerts for anomalous activities or threat detections to notify relevant personnel automatically.
• Ensure ConMon-related controls are properly implemented in RMF packages within the eMASS system.
• Coordinate with administrators to resolve credentialing issues and alert leadership of negative security posture changes.

What we're looking for

• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is required prior to start.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field (preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in a cybersecurity or network security position.
• Current DoD 8570 IAM II or IAT II certification.
• High-level understanding of Splunk with experience building and managing dashboards.
• Understanding of RMF process, NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53, and CNSSI 1253.
• Knowledge of security architecture, system hardening, Vulnerability Management Programs, and intrusion detection/prevention.
• Experience as a network intrusion analyst or SOC analyst (preferred); experience with tools like MDE, ACAS, HBSS, or Axonius (preferred).
