As a Containerization Engineer, you will join the team to manage and deploy containerized applications for major federal IT systems. Your daily responsibilities include building secure Docker images for Java or PHP-based applications across Linux and Windows environments, managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems, and creating build and deployment pipelines using Tekton or GitLab CI/CD on OpenShift platforms. You will utilize tools such as Helm for Kubernetes deployments across various cloud providers like Azure, AWS, Google, and Oracle. The role requires technical expertise in the LAMP stack, SQL database queries, and production debugging via Splunk. To succeed, you must possess skills in Docker, Kubernetes architecture, and Red Hat OpenShift while providing both high-level and low-level documentation to support complex government IT infrastructure and security standards.

Create Docker images for Linux and Windows operating systems, developer tools, and databases.
Deploy containerized applications to Kubernetes platforms using Helm across on-premises and government clouds.

What we're looking for
Must possess a NACI (T1) clearance.
BA/BS degree with 13+ years of related IT experience, or MA/MS with 10+ years of related IT experience.
At least 10 years of related experience in the field.
Five or more years of relevant containerization experience with major federal IT applications.
Expert-level experience building secure Docker images for Java or PHP applications and managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Experience deploying containerized applications using Helm to Kubernetes platforms on-premises or in government clouds like Azure, AWS, Google, or Oracle.
Experience creating build/deploy pipelines with Tekton or GitLab CI/CD on OpenShift or other Kubernetes platforms.
Experience with security tools, automated deployments via Ansible, and federal IT security standards (preferred).
