Consultant, Business Analysis

What you'll do

• Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog by writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Translate complex business requirements and customer needs into technical specifications for development teams.
• Lead and facilitate scrum team meetings, including backlog refinement and prioritization sessions.
• Conduct business analyses to formulate recommendations for healthcare benefits and product development.
• Perform API analysis, SQL queries, and data analysis to support software development.
• Support solution enablement by creating user procedure documentation and delivering training to internal teams.
• Coordinate with business partners, vendors, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously to deliver high-value features in a fast-paced Agile environment.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8 plus years of Business Systems Analyst experience, ideally in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Solid understanding of healthcare and/or benefits administration and/or product development.
• Expertise in business analysis methodologies including data analysis, use case development, story writing, UAT, and product documentation.
• Skilled in API analysis, SQL, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and JIRA or similar agile tools.
• Ability to translate complex customer needs into prioritized user stories with concrete acceptance criteria.
• Certified Business Analysis Professional® (CBAP®) or Certified Scrum Product Owner certification (preferred).
• Prior hands-on expertise working with health benefits administration experience (preferred).
