What you'll do

Apply, validate, and remediate DISA STIG benchmarks across VMware ESXi hosts, vCenter Server Appliances, and virtual switches.
Deploy firmware updates and security patches to resolve vulnerabilities identified in ACAS/Tenable scans.
Execute technical remediation for infrastructure vulnerabilities and develop formal Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms).
Harden and isolate virtual networking components including distributed switches and VLAN segmentation per Department of War guidelines.
Build and maintain secure virtual machine templates, golden images, and compliant virtual appliances.
Develop PowerShell and PowerCLI scripts to automate compliance audits, configuration verification, and bulk remediation.
Generate technical artifact packages and system configuration baselines for CORA inspection evaluators.
Maintain technical runbooks and standard operating procedures for all virtualization security configurations.

What we're looking for

Must be a United States citizen.
Must currently possess an active Secret security clearance.
Must have 3 or more years of related experience in virtualization, systems administration, or information assurance.
Must possess an applicable intermediate DoW 8140 or 8570 certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, or equivalent).
Must have hands-on experience with VMware vSphere 7.x/8.x and applying DISA STIGs to hypervisors.
Must be proficient in PowerShell and PowerCLI for automation and compliance tasks.
Must understand ACAS/Tenable results, CVE remediation, and DoW cybersecurity requirements.
US Citizenship.
