As a Compliance - Quant Analytics Senior Associate within the Strategic Data Analytics team of the Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk organization, you will lead the design, development, and enhancement of scalable analytics, automation, and technology-enabled solutions. You will manage data movement, inventory management, control monitoring, and operational decision-making while identifying inefficiencies and defining data quality standards for alerts and AI-driven outputs. Your daily work involves building automated pipelines and ETL processes to streamline investigation workflows and reporting. To succeed, you must utilize Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Databricks, Spark, Snowflake, and Tableau or ThoughtSpot. You will solve complex problems regarding data architecture, schema design, and governance in a compliance context. This role requires translating business needs into technical solutions while ensuring all outputs remain accurate, compliant, and audit-ready across various operational workflows.

What you'll do

Resolve complex, ambiguous problems by performing root-cause analysis and designing scalable solutions for various workflows.
Develop automation solutions using Python, Java, or JavaScript to streamline investigation workflows and data pipelines.
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks and Spark.
Define and enforce data quality standards, validation controls, and audit frameworks for dashboards and AI outputs.
Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies and control gaps within the compliance space.
Translate complex technical concepts and strategic recommendations into clear communications for senior leadership and stakeholders.
Research and integrate emerging technologies and methodologies to improve team capabilities and innovation strategy.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data analysis, process improvement, compliance, operations, technology, or a related discipline.
Foundational proficiency in at least one programming language such as SQL, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Experience implementing data quality frameworks, validation controls, and governance processes to ensure accuracy and auditability.
Experience with logical and physical data modeling, schema design, and data architecture principles in enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, or similar distributed data processing frameworks for building production data pipelines.
Ability to independently identify, decompose, and solve complex technical and business problems.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
