What you'll do

  • Develop complex applications based on technical and functional specifications.
  • Code, test, debug, maintain, and install computer software.
  • Research and implement additions and changes to financial software products.
  • Analyze technical specifications to ensure application compatibility with other systems.
  • Translate high-level ideas into detailed technical designs during strategic planning sessions.
  • Recommend major changes to procedures and software development activities.
  • Resolve architectural problems regarding scalability, performance, reliability, usability, and security.

What we're looking for

  • You must possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
  • Candidates must have at least 6 years of software development experience.
  • Knowledge of software design patterns, data modeling, and SOLID principles is required.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices, tooling, and finding remediation is required.
  • Ability to resolve architectural problems including scalability, performance, reliability, usability, and security is required.
  • Experience with source management tools such as GIT or TFS is required.
  • Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and automated functional testing is beneficial.
  • Agile methodology, Jira/Confluence, scripting, DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, and financial industry experience are preferred.
