Co-op DevOps Engineering

What you'll do

• Support and contribute to software and firmware build systems to ensure reliable, repeatable builds.
• Evaluate, document, and analyze software tools to provide actionable insights to engineering teams.
• Manage and improve automated test systems using various frameworks and scripting techniques.
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Integrate efforts across development and testing teams to improve software delivery pipelines.
• Propose innovative ideas to enhance build, test, and deployment processes for improved efficiency.

What we're looking for

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Must be eligible for a co-op work term at a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance.
• Familiarity with computer networking and networking equipment.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as C/C++, C#, Java, or Python.
• Exposure to DevOps tools such as Ansible, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with MS Windows Server, Linux, or virtual machine environments.
