What you'll do

Develop full-stack software and systems using Python or Java in a Linux environment.
Design and implement data processing workflows for both periodic and streaming data.
Build and maintain web-based server applications with integrated relational database logic.
Create task automation and data pipelines utilizing the AWS API, Lambda, and Step Functions.
Optimize data structures and storage using JSON, YAML, or NoSQL databases.
Oversee a team of developers to implement new tools, techniques, and system improvements.
Architect end-to-end solutions that align with current infrastructure and future scalability requirements.

What we're looking for

TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science field and 14+ years of experience in Linux software engineering, or 18+ years of experience without a degree.
Experience developing software using Python or Java.
Experience in data modeling, including normalization and working with metrics.
Experience developing web-based server applications and implementing algorithms for relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Experience with Linux, shell scripting, and designing data processing workflows.
Experience with AWS API task automation, periodic/streaming data, and optimizing data structures using JSON, YAML, or NoSQL.
Experience with unstructured/graph databases, automated testing, containers, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and web design (preferred).
