What you'll do

Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade API management platforms and infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
Implement API versioning, lifecycle management, and governance standards using OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
Develop and manage API policies for authentication, rate limiting, request transformations, and caching.
Implement security protocols including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT validation, and Zero Trust access controls.
Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to automate API deployments.
Monitor API health and performance while developing dashboards, alerts, and automated reporting.
Integrate APIs with Azure services such as Entra ID, Functions, Service Bus, and Key Vault.

What we're looking for

10+ years of API engineering or cloud development experience.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Expertise in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-grade APIs on the Microsoft Azure platform.
Proficiency in implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
Experience with API gateways, service mesh concepts, and OpenAPI/Swagger standards.
Ability to implement security protocols including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT validation, and Microsoft Entra ID integration.
Experience with financial services, regulated environments, or large-scale enterprise cloud platforms (preferred).
Azure certifications such as Azure Developer Associate, Administrator Associate, DevOps Engineer Expert, Solutions Architect Expert, or Security Engineer Associate (preferred).
