As a Cloud Network Engineer, Mid, you will join an agile team of experts to manage the full lifecycle of software projects and product design. Your core responsibilities include analyzing complex local and wide area network systems, designing and configuring operating systems for virtualized and containerized environments, and resolving difficult interoperability problems across host, hypervisor, and guest nodes. You will load and configure cloud servers using Cisco, Juniper, or white box routers and switches while supporting hardware and software acquisitions. The role requires proficiency with Kubernetes, VMWare, QEMU, KVM, Docker, Linux, and OpenStack. You will also utilize software-defined networking, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to perform reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis to solve complex technical problems for clients.

What you'll do

Analyze and configure operating systems and protocol suites for virtualized and containerized systems.
Resolve complex interoperability problems across host, hypervisor, and guest nodes.
Load and configure cloud servers, white box routers, and switches from vendors like Cisco or Juniper.
Perform reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis on various software problems.
Inform operational parameters for complex systems using artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Support the acquisition of hardware, software, and subcontractor services.
Provide technical project leadership or work leadership to junior employees as needed.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience providing technical support for the engineering and testing of complex software and hardware systems in the communication field.
Experience with Kubernetes and networking equipment, including Cisco or Juniper.
Experience with VMWare, QEMU, KVM, or Docker.
Experience with Linux or OpenStack.
Knowledge of networking services and software-defined networking.
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
HS diploma or GED.
