TL;DR · Cloud Foundational Service Product Delivery Manager

As a Cloud Foundational Service Product Delivery Manager within the Infrastructure Platforms team, you will lead end-to-end delivery processes across intake, planning, execution, and reporting to optimize how cloud platform products reach customers. You will manage backlog prioritization, mitigate risks related to security and technical constraints, and coordinate resource allocation while ensuring adherence to deadlines for customer features and cybersecurity items. The role involves using data-driven methods and automation to improve delivery predictability and performance metrics like cycle time and throughput. You will utilize Jira for backlog management and Copilot in VS Code to script workflows for data manipulation and reporting. To succeed, you must possess expertise in product delivery, release management, and agile tooling while demonstrating a strong understanding of public cloud providers including AWS, Azure, and GCP.

What you'll do

  • Lead end-to-end product delivery processes from intake through closure while tracking measurable outcomes like throughput and cycle times.
  • Execute backlog planning and prioritization by translating aggregate demand and team capacity into actionable plans with clear commitments.
  • Mitigate delivery risks by coordinating the triage, resolution, and escalation of security and technical blockers.
  • Drive feasibility decisions by synthesizing resource availability, technical constraints, and stakeholder requirements into go/no-go recommendations.
  • Report product performance using transparent metrics and dashboards to track predictability, aging work items, and SLA adherence.
  • Automate process optimizations through scripting and tools like Copilot to improve data manipulation and reporting speed.
  • Manage and maintain accurate resource allocation data in shared systems to ensure auditability of plans.
  • Administer backlog management practices in Jira to improve hygiene, traceability, and ticket quality.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in product delivery, program delivery, or a closely related domain.
  • Demonstrated track record of implementing continuous improvement processes measured through delivery KPIs.
  • Experience in product or platform-wide release management, including deployment processes and delivery strategies.
  • Ability to lead end-to-end intake and planning workflows, including demand shaping, prioritization, and dependency management.
  • Proven capability to manage delivery risk, including security/risk issue tracking, escalation, and mitigation planning.
  • Proficiency with agile tooling and backlog operations in Jira, including planning workflows and reporting.
  • Experience managing resource allocation data with accuracy and operational rigor.
  • Ability to analyze and visualize process data to produce actionable insights.
  • Understanding of public cloud providers, specifically AWS (required) and Azure or GCP (preferred).
  • Proficiency in the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics (preferred).
  • Proficiency using Copilot in VS Code for scripting data manipulation and visualization (preferred).
