What you'll do

Design, develop, and enhance cloud and container monitoring and assessment capabilities.
Triage and prioritize remediation for cloud and container-related misconfiguration findings.
Identify and implement security improvements to prevent and validate environment vulnerabilities.
Provide subject matter expertise on remediation, exception requests, and risk mitigations to stakeholders.
Develop security policies and compliance initiatives based on industry standards.
Create and evolve reporting metrics to communicate risk posture to leadership.
Improve processes, metrics, and documentation to mature security posture and risk management.
Partner with leadership to set the strategic direction for the Attack Surface Management program.

What we're looking for

Demonstrated expertise in cloud and container security.
Expertise in container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, and ECS.
Skilled in correlating compliance posture to risk and threats.
Experience improving cloud compliance posture management processes and assessing risk for container and cloud environments.
Ability to collaborate with engineering teams to provide SME knowledge on vulnerabilities and consult on mitigations.
Engineering mindset featuring systems thinking, creative problem solving, and deductive reasoning.
Effective communication and documentation skills.
Experience with CI/CD, SecDevOps, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and familiarity with CSPM, audit processes, and industry standards (preferred).
