Clinical Director I, Data and AI Convergence

What you'll do

• Act as the primary clinical authority to ensure AI and data initiatives are scientifically rigorous and regulatory compliant.
• Identify systemic gaps in R&D workflows and design advanced analytical processes to improve decision-making.
• Develop integrated, scalable workflow solutions that combine diverse data sources into unified, analytics-ready frameworks.
• Oversee the clinical validation of AI-derived outputs for patient selection, safety surveillance, and trial optimization.
• Translate complex therapeutic priorities into technical requirements for data scientists and software engineers.
• Drive the cultural adoption of new technologies through stakeholder engagement and targeted training programs.
• Establish standardized methodologies and best practices for data integration across different therapeutic areas.

What we're looking for

• MD degree with 8-10 years of pharmaceutical or biotech experience in clinical development or translational medicine.
• Substantial experience in data-enabled workflow transformation and leading enterprise-level integrations of AI and advanced analytics.
• Deep understanding of the full clinical development lifecycle, including trial design, regulatory submission, and post-approval processes.
• Expert proficiency in machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, and generative AI technologies using frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and R with experience in production code, version control, and MLOps principles.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) and large-scale data processing architectures.
• Ability to influence senior leadership and lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
• Board certification, clinical practice experience, or knowledge of CDISC standards (preferred).
