What you'll do

  • Lead inter-disciplinary teams across software, hardware, robotics, and testing to deliver integrated systems for multi-purpose missions.
  • Define the technical vision and system architecture to guide overarching development efforts.
  • Establish and maintain engineering standards including code reviews, configuration management, and build processes.
  • Perform root cause analysis on failures and coordinate corrective actions with engineering teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers and oversee their professional development at appropriate levels.
  • Serve as the primary technical subject matter expert during customer engagement and management.
  • Travel to test ranges and customer sites to build, test, and deploy capabilities.

What we're looking for

  • Must possess and be able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in autonomous systems, robotics, and defense applications within the intelligence or defense communities.
  • Experience in a technical management or engineering role leading teams to integrate software and hardware solutions.
  • Experience developing complex programs involving optical sensing, radar, RF, EW, UAS, Counter UAS, sensor integration, and networking/C2.
  • Proven experience in systems architecture at the sensor integration level for delivered systems.
  • Experience with rapid integration timelines and field testing or deployment.
  • Preferred experience with SITL and HITL simulation environments and executing comprehensive testing programs.
