Data Management Lead

What you'll do

• Own the lifecycle of CCOR data products including requirement gathering, design, testing, and delivery oversight.
• Execute project milestones while identifying and mitigating risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in data initiatives.
• Ensure critical data is properly documented, classified with metadata, and managed for purpose and control.
• Develop processes to monitor and mitigate data risks regarding protection, retention, storage, and quality.
• Partner with technology teams to design tools and processes for effective data management.
• Create prototypes for data visualization, analytics, and automation in collaboration with digital teams.
• Resolve data issues promptly to maintain data integrity and build consumer trust.
• Manage and guide direct or matrixed staff to execute complex data-related tasks and initiatives.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Equivalent professional experience in data management, data governance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data management, data governance, risk management/analytics, or a related field.
• Proven leadership track record and ability to manage delivery timelines and cross-functional teams.
• In-depth understanding of data management principles, governance frameworks, and lifecycle management.
• Experience working on large scale data lake or data-warehousing projects.
• Proficiency in SQL writing is required.
• Ability to write Python and PySpark code is required.
