What you'll do

  • Negotiate and execute complex patent license agreements for cellular devices.
  • Develop and implement account strategies for Qualcomm’s licensing programs.
  • Advise on licensee compliance and enforcement of existing license agreements.
  • Collaborate with QTL teams to refine licensing strategies and negotiate terms.
  • Maintain effective relationships with key licensees in worldwide markets.
  • Facilitate compliance efforts by working with the QTL Compliance & Audit team.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of experience in patent licensing and negotiation.
  • JD or LLM from an accredited US law school preferred.
  • Deep understanding of key patent law concepts and FRAND requirements.
  • Experience as in-house counsel for a technology company preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of intellectual property case law and regulations.
  • Familiarity with cellular communications technology and wireless standards.
  • Broad commercial acumen and ability to monitor market trends.
