Camera Technologies Engineering Program Manager

What you'll do

• Drive the design and development of early exploration platforms and technology building blocks for camera systems.
• Lead multi-functional engineering teams through the definition and Proof of Concept of new imaging technologies.
• Manage project definitions, resource allocation, milestones, and timelines across cross-functional teams.
• Translate complex technical issues and risks into actionable information for executive management.
• Perform proactive risk management and communicate status updates to both development teams and executives.
• Coordinate communication and activities between global teams and vendors across multiple geographies.
• Manage the full lifecycle of hardware technology development through ambiguous early definition phases.
• Travel internationally to support technology center operations and vendor activities.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with early technology development and consumer hardware product life cycles.
• Expertise in program management, including project planning, schedule estimation, and goal management.
• In-depth technical engineering knowledge to manage projects through ambiguous definition phases and assess risks.
• Proven ability to manage multiple global teams and vendors.
• Knowledge of imaging system concepts or camera parts and subcomponents design.
• Strong communication, presentation, and conflict resolution skills.
