What you'll do

  • Review and interpret customer engine function requirements to act as a primary technical contact.
  • Modify calibration labels within Bosch Engine Control software to meet performance goals.
  • Use advanced development and measurement tools like ETAS INCA and ASCMO to optimize power, torque, and fuel economy.
  • Ensure all calibration activities comply with relevant emission regulations and standards.
  • Conduct development and production validation testing on dynamometers and on-vehicle platforms.
  • Prepare technical reports summarizing engine calibration strategies, results, and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with global software, hardware, and project management teams to ensure seamless project integration.

What we're looking for

  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering.
  • Must have 5+ years of technical experience with engine management systems for mobility systems.
  • Must have a motorcycle endorsement.
  • Experience with motorcycles and off-road recreational vehicles.
  • Proficiency with Bosch Engine Control Units (ECUs) and calibration tools like ETAS INCA, ASCMO, and MDA.
  • Strong understanding of internal combustion engine principles, control strategies, and powertrain architectures.
  • Familiarity with emission regulations (e.g., EPA, CARB, Euro) and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with engine/chassis dynamometer testing and vehicle-level validation.
  • Experience with Bosch Powertrain Solutions software development process and tools (preferred).
  • Indefinite U.S. work authorization.
