This role addresses the technical challenge of implementing robust sensor calibration for ADAS systems across prototype and production vehicle variants.

What you'll do

  • Develop and improve sensor calibration algorithms using both classical and deep learning methods.
  • Implement high-performance production code in C++ utilizing GPGPU programming and CUDA.
  • Optimize software architecture and frameworks to meet internal and external customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain fleet monitoring tools to track calibration performance across a large vehicle fleet.
  • Perform in-vehicle testing, troubleshooting, and data mining for various sensor modalities like LiDAR, radar, and camera.
  • Ensure production code adheres to strict automotive safety standards such as MISRA and AUTOSAR.
  • Collaborate with OEM partners to deploy new calibration features on prototype and production vehicles.

What we're looking for

  • PhD with 1+ year, MS with 3+ years, or BS with 5+ years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Excellent C++ and Python programming skills.
  • General knowledge of fundamental algorithms in Robotics, Controls/Estimation, and 3D Computer Vision.
  • Strong knowledge of programming and debugging techniques for automotive and robotics systems.
  • Proficiency with local/remote Linux machines, git, and build systems.
  • Experience with data-parallel and/or CUDA programming (preferred).
  • Experience with performance analysis, optimizations, and benchmarking (preferred).
  • Background in automotive systems, ADAS applications, or calibration projects (preferred).
