CAEG Systems Administrator

What you'll do

• Monitor and tune Windows, Unix, and Linux server environments to ensure 99.9% uptime.
• Optimize Storage Area Networks (SAN) to improve data throughput for large engineering files.
• Administer Autodesk and Bentley licensing servers and manage ProjectWise Integration Servers.
• Enforce Active Directory access controls and execute security patching to meet FAA compliance.
• Perform daily database replication and execute annual disaster recovery tests in NetApp environments.
• Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentorship for complex CAD/CAE system failures.
• Generate capacity planning reports, uptime metrics, and monthly security patch logs.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree and 6 years of relevant experience.
• Must have hands-on experience as a System Administrator for Bentley ProjectWise.
• Must have hands-on experience as a System Administrator for Autodesk Vault.
• Must have technical experience working with Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, and Autodesk ReCap.
• Must have knowledge of IT principles including SAN/NetApp storage, Windows/Unix/Linux OS administration, and regional networking.
• Must have the ability to pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain an FAA Suitability / Public Trust clearance.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills for technical documentation and user mentorship.
• Prior experience supporting IT/engineering infrastructure within the FAA, DoD, or other government aviation/defense environments (preferred).
