CAD Engineer, Circuit Simulation Methodology

What you'll do

• Support transistor level simulation solutions that scale with accuracy and capacity challenges.
• Enhance custom transistor level simulation flows and EM/IR flows.
• Address circuit verification requirements across different processes for various design groups.
• Identify flow deficiencies and deliver state of the art solutions with CAD and EDA teams.
• Develop transistor level simulation flows and automations to improve accuracy and performance.
• Root-cause technical challenges and communicate solutions for methodology advancement.
• Coordinate and drive initiatives together with senior team members.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with custom design environments and transistor level circuit simulation.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Perl, or C/C++.
• Hands-on experience developing transistor level simulation flows and automations for improved accuracy and performance (preferred).
• Knowledge of EM/IR analysis tools, including their working principles and methods (preferred).
• Familiarity with custom design environments including schematic/layout design, simulation, extraction, and physical verification (preferred).
• Strong analytical skills to root-cause technical challenges and communicate solutions for methodology advancement (preferred).
• Ability to coordinate and drive initiatives together with senior team members (preferred).
