As a CAD Engineer - Circuit Simulation Methodology, you will join the CAD Group to build state of the art designs. Your primary responsibilities involve defining, developing, and refining methodologies and flows for custom simulation and power EM/IR analysis. You will support transistor level simulation solutions that scale with accuracy and capacity challenges while enhancing custom transistor level simulation flows. You will collaborate with physical-design, integration, circuit-design, power, and technology groups to address circuit verification requirements across different processes. You will partner with design, CAD, and EDA teams to identify flow deficiencies and deliver solutions. Required skills include experience with custom design environments, transistor level circuit simulation, and proficiency in Python, Perl, or C/C++. You must also possess knowledge of EM/IR analysis tools and schematic/layout design.
Support transistor level simulation solutions that scale with accuracy and capacity challenges.
Enhance custom transistor level simulation flows and EM/IR flows.
Address circuit verification requirements across different processes for various design groups.
Identify flow deficiencies and deliver state-of-the-art solutions with design and EDA teams.
Develop transistor level simulation flows and automations to improve accuracy and performance.
Perform root-cause analysis on technical challenges to advance methodology.
Coordinate and drive technical initiatives alongside senior team members.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
Experience with custom design environment and transistor level circuit simulation.
Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Perl, or C/C++.
Hands-on experience developing transistor level simulation flows and automations for improved accuracy and higher performance (preferred).
Knowledge in EM/IR analysis tools, including their working principles and methods (preferred).
Familiarity with custom design environment and flows, including schematic/layout design, simulation, extraction, and physical verification (preferred).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to root-cause technical challenges and communicate solutions (preferred).
