The C++ Software Engineer, Junior will join a collaborative team to develop solution architecture and resolve complex issues through requirements analysis and project supervision. Working under direct supervision, the individual will design, modify, and implement software programming applications using Agile methods. Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications.
Experience creating solutions to complex problems in a collaborative team environment.
Knowledge of C++ fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, data types and structures, standard library, memory management, and design patterns.
Ability to problem-solve and critically think through software issues using debuggers and testing infrastructure.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
Experience with modeling and simulation frameworks, including AFSIM (preferred).
Experience with large code bases and the complex code (preferred).
Ability to work with technologies that support CI/CD development, including Git, Jira, and Bamboo (preferred).
