The Business Information Security Officer-VP joins the Global Cybersecurity team as a trusted advisor and cyber risk leader. Reporting to the Senior BISO, you will lead a small team to provide cyber advisory services, build application and service level threat models, and execute a cyber book of work for specific business units. You will perform risk assessments at the application, platform, and system levels, integrating security into lifecycle processes like Incident Management and eSDLC. The role requires expertise in cloud security, networking, and cryptography, with a heavy focus on blockchain and digital asset services. You will manage risks involving tokenization, HSM-backed key management, MPC, wallet security, and smart contract assurance. You must translate complex technical risks into clear control expectations for legal, compliance, and regulatory stakeholders.

What you'll do

Lead a small team to execute a cyber book of work and support business stakeholders.
Perform cyber risk assessments at the application, platform, and system levels to identify vulnerabilities.
Oversee and manage business unit risks in line with the firm's risk appetite.
Advise on blockchain and digital asset risks including tokenization, custody, and smart contract security.
Challenge custody and key management designs involving HSMs, cold storage, and private key lifecycles.
Integrate security risk reviews into processes like Incident Management, Vulnerability Management, and Third-Party Risk Review.
Prepare and deliver executive-ready presentations on threat models and control results to senior leadership.
Coordinate with technical teams to define practical digital asset control expectations for the business.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security and assurance, or a related technical field or equivalent work experience.
At least 6 years of information security experience in an operational or analytical capacity.
At least 4 years of experience within financial services.
Blockchain and digital asset security certifications (e.g., CBSP) (preferred).
Practical experience with digital asset custody, wallet infrastructure, HSMs, MPC technologies, and smart contracts (preferred).
Experience working with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
Experience with AWS or Azure cloud security (preferred).
