The Business Analytics Advisor, Learning & Knowledge Management Analytics - Evernorth works within an analytics team supporting the Learning & Knowledge Management arm of Operational Excellence. This hands-on role involves building data ingestion and transformation processes, developing fit-for-purpose web applications to replace manual workflows, and creating reporting solutions for business partners. The individual will translate requirements into reliable datasets, perform ETL tasks, and design dashboards to track learner readiness, knowledge utilization, and operational performance. Key technical skills include SQL, Python or similar scripting languages, and experience with visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI. The role addresses the challenge of improving learner readiness and knowledge effectiveness by connecting learning experiences to downstream outcomes such as proficiency and quality. Candidates will utilize these tools to provide actionable insights regarding training ROI and workforce data within a complex operational environment.
Use SQL and Python to build repeatable data ingestion, transformation, and ETL processes from multiple sources.
Create and maintain reusable datasets and data models to support consistent metrics and scalable reporting.
Develop dashboards and automated reports to track learner journeys, readiness milestones, and operational performance.
Build lightweight web applications and workflow tools to replace manual tracking and fragmented processes.
Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications for data products and digital solutions.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends in learning effectiveness, knowledge utilization, and customer experience.
Document source-to-target logic, metric definitions, and data limitations to ensure long-term maintainability.
Communicate analytical findings and technical choices to stakeholders through concise reports and visualizations.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, information systems, business, or a related field (preferred).
Three or more years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, process automation, or a related discipline.
Strong SQL skills including joins, common table expressions, subqueries, aggregations, and data validation.
Experience using Python or another scripting language for data preparation, automation, or application development.
Experience building or supporting ETL processes, repeatable data pipelines, and analytics-ready datasets.
Experience with a business intelligence or visualization platform such as Tableau or Power BI.
Experience with Databricks, PySpark, cloud data platforms, or enterprise-scale databases (preferred).
Experience building lightweight internal web applications, forms, or workflow solutions using frameworks like Streamlit, Dash, Flask, or Power Apps (preferred).
