What you'll do

Develop and maintain custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability.
Design and implement backend software applications using Agile methodologies.
Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices to support user-focused solutions.
Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS services, including serverless technologies like Lambda.
Manage and query both SQL and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval.
Identify potential technical risks and contribute to the development of architectural solutions.
Utilize infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Terragrunt to manage environments.
Perform testing and maintenance using automated testing tools.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience in software development with programming languages like Python and back-end software design.
5+ years of experience developing and implementing software applications using Agile methods.
Experience with AWS services, including serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda.
Experience with object-oriented programming, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Ability to solve complex problems within a collaborative and cross-functional team environment.
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
High school diploma or GED.
