What you'll do

Develop and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and data integrations.
Design and code scalable server applications and databases that meet architectural goals.
Participate in Agile development cycles including design, coding, testing, and support.
Support the deployment and monitoring of backend applications in cloud and hybrid environments.
Perform code reviews and participate in testing activities with cross-functional teams.

Debug and solve technical problems within client-server architectures and networking protocols.

What we're looking for

High School Diploma or GED.
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of C or one or more of: C++, Java, Golang, Python, Ruby, Perl, or SQL.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies including Scrum and DevOps workflows.
Basic understanding of APIs (e.g., REST), databases (SQL/NoSQL), and version control systems like Git.
Experience with assembly language or systems-level programming in C or C++ (preferred).
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl for automation (preferred).
Exposure to cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containerization tools, or virtualization concepts (preferred).
