The AWS Technical Architect joins the AWS Business Group to support cross-industry organizations in reinventing and scaling their operations. This role involves designing and contributing to reusable Enterprise Cloud Architecture, Data & AI, Migration, and Agentic AI solution assets, including reference architectures, accelerators, and proof-of-concept templates. You will support client pursuits by preparing presentations, solution workshops, and RFP responses while providing technical guidance across cloud, data, analytics, and machine learning. Key responsibilities include participating in architecture reviews, identifying risks, and collaborating with AWS Partner sales and account teams. Required expertise includes hands-on AWS experience with core services, networking, and security, as well as proficiency in scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Jenkins to automate environments and optimize costs.

What you'll do

Design and contribute to reusable Enterprise Cloud Architecture, Data & AI, and Agentic AI solution assets.
Prepare client presentations, solution workshops, demonstrations, RFP/RFI responses, and technical estimates.
Participate in architecture reviews and quality assessments to identify risks and document recommendations.
Develop and maintain AWS environments as code using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
Provide technical guidance across cloud, data, analytics, machine learning, and generative AI domains.
Collaborate with AWS partners and account teams to support business development and client delivery.
Stay current on emerging AWS technologies to apply new capabilities to client solutions.

What we're looking for

Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience).
Must have an Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on AWS experience including core cloud services and architecture concepts.
Minimum of 3 years of experience contributing to at least one AWS implementation and/or migration.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with scripting and developing or maintaining AWS environments as code.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with automation or Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Jenkins.
Minimum of 3 years of working knowledge of core AWS platform architecture, migration tools, backup, disaster recovery, and cost management.
