What you'll do

Develop and deploy production-ready geospatial database solutions from initial concept through operations and maintenance.
Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using various AWS services to process data.
Design and optimize spatial database schemas and indexing strategies for complex queries at scale.
Implement cloud-native architecture patterns using services like ECS, EKS, Lambda, SQS, and DynamoDB.
Manage infrastructure as code using tools such as AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
Ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity for geospatial data systems.
Develop dashboards and monitoring systems to track the health of streaming services.
Maintain security compliance and documentation in accordance with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree required.
Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
5+ years of experience in software with a cloud-first development approach.
4+ years of experience with enterprise data engineering development, including geospatial data.
3+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecture patterns like ECS/EKS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, and network security.
3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
Experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development, data lakes, data warehousing, and analytics platforms.
Experience developing and deploying production geospatial solutions from concept to operations and maintenance.
