Automation Architect

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain the enterprise automation vision, roadmap, and governing architectural patterns.
• Design automated solutions for infrastructure, cloud operations, identity management, and service request fulfillment.
• Transform manual processes into orchestrated, scalable workflows to improve operational reliability.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies, machine learning, and predictive analytics into business processes.
• Create business cases demonstrating the value, ROI, and risk reduction of automation initiatives.
• Establish metrics and reporting frameworks to measure automation effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as a senior advisor to leadership on automation strategy and investment priorities.
• Mentor engineering teams on automation best practices and technical implementation.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business Administration is preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise IT.
• 7+ years of experience designing and implementing automation solutions at scale.
• Experience with workflow orchestration, scripting, infrastructure automation, and systems integration.
• Expertise in cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and API-based or event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of IT service management and operational processes.
• Architecture certifications (TOGAF, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or Lean/Six Sigma certifications are preferred.
