As an Associate, Software Engineer, you will join a cross-functional engineering team to develop and test embedded software for real-time control of advanced tactical radio equipment. You will apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical principles throughout the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing. Your daily responsibilities involve collaborating on hardware and software interfaces, creating test procedures, using modeling tools to establish operating data, and performing peer reviews to identify and resolve defects. You will work with a wide range of programming languages such as C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, HTML5, XML, SQL, Perl, Python, Ajax, and Qt across Windows, Linux, mobile platforms, and embedded real-time operating systems including VxWorks, QNX, and Integrity for various processor designs.

What we're looking for
Applicants must be pursuing a Master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
Applicants may have completed their Master's degree within the last 12 months.
Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for security clearance.
Ability to apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts in software development.
Experience developing and testing embedded software for real-time control systems.
Proficiency in various programming languages such as C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, HTML5, XML, SQL, Perl, Python, Ajax, or Qt.
Ability to work with multiple operating systems including Windows, Linux, mobile platforms, and RTOS like VxWorks, QNX, or Integrity.
