What you'll do

Develop and test embedded software for real-time control of advanced tactical radio equipment.
Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical principles to develop software for target applications.
Design and evaluate hardware/software interfaces and operational performance requirements with cross-functional teams.
Execute all phases of the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing.
Create software test procedures, programs, and technical documentation.
Use modeling tools to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
Participate in peer reviews to identify, track, and repair software defects.
Program across multiple languages and platforms including Windows, Linux, and various real-time operating systems.

What we're looking for

Applicants must be pursuing a Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Applicants may have completed a Master's degree in a relevant field within the last 12 months.
Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for security clearance.
Ability to apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts to software development.
Experience with various programming languages including C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, HTML5, XML, SQL, Perl, Python, Ajax, or Qt.
Experience working with Windows, Linux, mobile platforms, and embedded real-time operating systems like VxWorks or QNX.
Ability to participate in all phases of the software development life cycle for embedded software.
