What you'll do

Develop and test embedded software for systems using computer science, engineering, and math principles.
Support all phases of the software development life cycle for real-time control of tactical radio equipment.
Develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software to meet operational performance requirements.
Create software test procedures, programs, and related technical documentation.
Use modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data and conduct experimental tests.
Participate in peer reviews to identify, track, and repair software defects.
Utilize various programming languages and operating systems to build solutions for embedded and platform-based environments.

What we're looking for

Applicants must be pursuing a Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, information security, or a related field.
Applicants must have completed a Master's degree in a related field within the last 12 months.
Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for a security clearance.
Must apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts to develop software for target applications.
Must participate in all phases of the software development life cycle for embedded software.
Must utilize a variety of programming languages including C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, HTML5, XML, SQL, Perl, Python, Ajax, and Qt.
Must work with various operating systems including Windows, Linux, mobile platforms, and embedded real-time operating systems.
