What you'll do

Develop and deploy automated image analysis workflows for histopathology and spatial biology using platforms like Visiopharm or Qpath.
Design machine learning and deep learning models for cell segmentation, phenotyping, and biomarker quantification.
Perform image registration, de-arraying, and alignment for multi-modal imaging datasets.
Create custom scripts and automated pipelines using Python and scientific computing libraries.
Configure and optimize scalable compute resources for high-throughput image processing.
Architect and integrate multiple databases into a cohesive, scalable system.
Troubleshoot complex software issues and work with third-party engineers to develop tailored solutions.
Document workflows, algorithms, and study results while presenting findings to scientific stakeholders.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Biology, or related field with experience, or a Master's degree in a related field.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry (preferred).
Demonstrated experience in digital pathology and image analysis platforms such as Visiopharm, Halo, QuPath, or Image J.
Strong proficiency in Python and associated scientific computing libraries like NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, and Scikit-learn.
Working knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS), scalable computational workflows, and database infrastructure.
Proficiency in third-party software tools for data analysis such as GraphPad Prism, Spotfire, or Excel.
Knowledge of molecular pathology techniques, spatial transcriptomics, and multiplexed IF images (preferred).
A foundation in biology or immunology to support the interpretation of image analysis solutions (highly desirable).
