The role requires expertise in AWS and Azure cloud connectivity, along with troubleshooting skills like packet analysis. Preferred technical skills include Python, Ansible, and GitHub for automation to maintain hybrid infrastructure and ensure reliable network operations.

What you'll do

  • Manage the lifecycle of network infrastructure including routing, switching, Cisco FTD firewalls, and Cisco ACI.
  • Support and maintain cloud-based solutions within hybrid environments using AWS and Azure platforms.
  • Design and analyze network architectures for both on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Develop system specifications and technical implementation plans for complex installation projects.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting including packet capture and analysis to ensure network performance and security.
  • Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and engineering teams to resolve issues and manage large-scale projects.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and provide on-call support to ensure business continuity.
  • Implement network changes to comply with governance frameworks such as NIST-CSF and COBIT.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT systems installation, operations, administration, and maintenance of virtualized servers and cloud systems.
  • Strong foundation in network protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS) and concepts (WAN/LAN/IP/VPN/IPAM/DNS).
  • Advanced experience with Cisco products including IOS, NX-OS, XR, and FTD platforms.
  • Experience supporting cloud connectivity (AWS, Azure) within a hybrid infrastructure environment.
  • Strong network troubleshooting skills including packet capture and analysis.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Scripting experience in Python or Ansible; CCNP/CCDP or AWS certifications (preferred).
