Associate, IT Business Security Analyst
The Associate, IT Business Security Analyst joins the team to support the secure, standardized, and measurable operation of the ServiceNow platform and ONEHub. This role serves as a governance and architectural control point, ensuring that demands, enhancements, and integrations align with approved security controls and ITSM processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional engagement across infrastructure, identity management, and application teams while managing role-based access controls and least-privilege practices. The analyst will also maintain the ServiceNow KPI framework, develop trusted metrics for leadership decision-making, and ensure audit readiness through meticulous documentation of compliance tracking. Key skills required include knowledge of cybersecurity risk concepts, data analysis, and IT service management. Candidates should be familiar with tools like ServiceNow and methodologies such as ITIL, Agile, Scrum, and SDLC to manage platform risks and improve operational performance.
Act as a governance and architectural control point for ServiceNow demands, enhancements, and platform changes.
Review all requests to ensure alignment with security controls, architecture standards, and business priorities.
Manage role-based access control reviews and enforce least-privilege access practices for users and integrations.
Identify and track integration, data, and operational dependencies before releasing system changes.
Maintain the ServiceNow KPI framework and develop validated metrics to support leadership decision-making.
Support audit readiness by maintaining evidence, documentation, and compliance tracking records.
Monitor technical teams to ensure adherence to defined ITSM processes like Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Maintain governance documentation including risk logs, review checklists, and architecture decisions.
What we're looking for
Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
Applicants may have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months regardless of age.
Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain a security clearance.
Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and communicate findings to technical and business stakeholders (preferred).
Basic knowledge of cybersecurity and risk concepts, including access control, least privilege, authentication, authorization, data protection, and compliance (preferred).
Basic understanding of software delivery, testing, integrations, IT service management, and change management (preferred).
Experience with ServiceNow, ITSM, GRC practices, security operations, identity and access management, or enterprise reporting (preferred).
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, ITIL, SDLC, audit/compliance concepts, and relevant certifications like CSA, ITIL Foundation, or Security+ (preferred).
