Associate Infrastructure Engineer III

What you'll do

• Manage the end-to-end administration, stability, and performance of block, file, and object storage across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Lead incident response for storage outages and perform root cause analysis to implement preventative actions.
• Build automation for provisioning, patching, upgrades, replication, and backup tasks to reduce manual toil.
• Implement AI-driven observability and AIOps capabilities for telemetry correlation and anomaly detection.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery validation for storage services.
• Create and maintain runbooks, escalation paths, and standardized operational procedures for on-call readiness.
• Use enterprise-authorized AI tools to accelerate infrastructure analysis, monitoring, and documentation while ensuring data security.
• Monitor and improve service level objectives, error budgets, and reliability targets for the storage estate.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts.
• 3+ years of applied experience in infrastructure engineering.
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support infrastructure workflows with strong validation habits.
• Strong knowledge of storage fundamentals including RAID, erasure coding, replication, snapshots, and SAN/NAS/Object storage.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major storage ecosystem such as NetApp, Dell EMC, Pure Storage, Hitachi, Ceph, or IBM.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming using Python, Go, or Bash.
• Solid Linux fundamentals including system performance, networking basics, and kernel/storage-stack concepts.
• Experience with observability stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic, Splunk, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry.
