Associate Info Sec Sys Engineer

What you'll do

• Monitor the environment for suspicious and malicious activity using SIEM toolsets.
• Document security events and incidents within the internal ticketing system.
• Analyze cyber threat intelligence reports to identify potential risks.
• Investigate suspicious email submissions to protect against phishing and threats.
• Assist in implementing, operating, and maintaining mission-critical cybersecurity tools.
• Provide technical assistance with the design and operations of SOC and IRT platforms.

What we're looking for

• Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree within the last 12 months.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens to be eligible for a security clearance.
• Strong interest in IT Security (preferred).
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language (preferred).
• Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail (preferred).
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments (preferred).
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python and PowerShell (preferred).
