Associate Director, Lead Cloud Architect

What you'll do

• Build and manage the AWS Landing Zone architecture to ensure high availability, network resilience, and cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain enterprise-grade Infrastructure-as-Code modules using CloudFormation and GitHub in a GitOps model.
• Design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud-native architectures for enterprise applications using serverless and multi-AZ deployments.
• Integrate AI/ML tools into the Software Development Lifecycle to improve security, quality, and development velocity.
• Automate security at every stage of the CI/CD pipeline by implementing policy-as-code and automated compliance checks.
• Manage the cloud platform as a product to improve developer experience and reduce time-to-market for application teams.
• Develop automated mechanisms and reference architectures to optimize AWS spending and resource utilization across business units.
• Establish technical standards, design patterns, and quality gates to ensure consistent and compliant cloud adoption.

What we're looking for

• Minimum BS level technical degree required; Computer Science or Engineering background preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in IT/Software Development.
• 7+ years of dedicated experience in large-scale, enterprise AWS engineering and DevOps delivery.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, NodeJS, and CloudFormation for building production systems.
• Expert-level knowledge of GitHub for code management, branching strategies, and Actions.
• Proven ability to deliver platform capabilities with a product development mindset focused on developer experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing complex IAM policies, network architectures, and troubleshooting high-volume distributed cloud systems.
• Active AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional and/or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional certification (preferred).
