The Associate Application Developer 2027 - DPE joins the IBM Consulting team to co-create solutions for global clients facing digital transformation, cloud strategy, and AI adoption challenges. What you'll do

  • Translate system requirements into the design and development of customized systems for clients.
  • Design, develop, and support high-quality, scalable products and interfaces across the entire system architecture.

  • Apply Design Thinking to create products that ensure high performance, security, quality, and stability.
  • Manage various relational databases, operating systems, and modern UI frameworks to build functional applications.
  • Create mockups, UI components, algorithms, and data structures to deliver viable products.
  • Integrate technologies from strategic partners like AWS, Microsoft, and Oracle based on project requirements.

What we're looking for

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
  • Demonstrated programming proficiency in one of the listed languages and experience with systems design/development and IT coursework.
  • Exposure to web services, APIs, Java application frameworks like Springboot, and web application development concepts.
  • Familiarity with generative AI modeling, ethics, methodologies, and Microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, and Google Cloud.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 100%.
