Associate Director Product Management

What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Leads and Product Analysts across multiple technology domains.
• Own the multi-product domain strategy, vision, and roadmap for protocol digitization, data flow, and sample lifecycle management.
• Manage senior stakeholder relationships across business partners, corporate IT, and external vendors to align technology with enterprise priorities.
• Chair domain steering committees and governance forums to ensure consistency and reuse across all product lines.
• Oversee end-to-end product ownership including requirements, testing, risk-based CSV, and ITIL-aligned release and incident processes.
• Set direction for regulated-AI governance and multi-agent orchestration aligned to 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP standards.
• Drive build-vs-buy assessments, RFPs, software contracting, and vendor performance management for the product portfolio.
• Direct the establishment of digital protocols and structured schedules of activities as the system of record for clinical data.

What we're looking for

• Strong command of ICH M11/USDM, CDISC SDTM/ADaM, controlled terminology, and standards governance.
• Demonstrated delivery of structured protocol authoring and protocol-to-data automations with traceable lineage into SDTM/ADaM.
• Experience with USDM-aligned tools (e.g., Nurocor) or equivalent MDRs.
• Practical understanding of human sample workflows, central/specialty lab operating models, and biospecimen/lab and SAP/EDC integrations.
• Experience managing technology capability identification, selection, implementation, and operations, including LIMS/LIS integrations with EDC, IRT, CTMS, and analytics.
• Experience applying AI and multi-agent/agentic systems with human-in-the-loop controls, plus technical fluency in REST/GraphQL APIs and ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical Global Development business capabilities, SDLC, and ITSM/ITIL frameworks with strong project and budget management skills.
• Familiarity with SQL/Python or R for prototyping/validation and MLOps in regulated environments (preferred).
