What you'll do

  • Take complete ownership of systems and features across the entire Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Conduct code reviews and champion best practices in code quality, testing, and security.
  • Establish monitoring, alerting, and incident response procedures for production stability.
  • Optimize application performance and design integration patterns for databases and messaging systems.
  • Balance technical debt with feature delivery to make strategic trade-off decisions.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of professional Java development experience with deep expertise.
  • 2+ years in a technical leadership role such as Tech Lead or Team Lead.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Core Java and multithreading (JDK 11+).
  • Proven experience architecting distributed, high-performance systems and handling SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with message queuing systems like Kafka, Tibco, or Solace.
  • Deep understanding of Linux and JVM internals with extensive production support experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in financial services, trading systems, or risk management (preferred).
