What you'll do

• Analyze and enhance advanced machine learning algorithms to optimize performance on complex datasets.
• Translate user needs into ML problems and design experiments to validate and refine solutions.
• Develop and scale models using deep learning, reinforcement learning, and probabilistic methods for various applications.
• Prepare high-quality datasets by identifying and resolving data quality issues and defining inclusion criteria.
• Build and improve data and ML pipelines, applying statistical methods to evaluate model performance.
• Communicate technical insights effectively and stay updated with emerging research trends in AI.

What we're looking for

• PhD candidate in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field with at least one quarter/semester remaining.
• Experience developing machine learning models for search, ranking, recommendations, retrieval, and language understanding.
• Ability to design and execute experiments using deep learning, reinforcement learning, probabilistic methods, and statistical techniques.
• Proficiency in preparing high-quality datasets by identifying data quality issues and defining inclusion criteria.
• Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems and experience in productionizing applied science solutions.
• Strong communication skills for conveying technical insights and experimental results to cross-functional teams.
