As an Applied AI Transformation Director - Identity Access Management within the Chief Technology Office, you will lead the transition of identity and access management toward AI-native and agent-enabled workflows. This senior individual-contributor player-coach role involves translating AI strategy into measurable outcomes by identifying high-value opportunities, leading multidisciplinary teams through experimentation, and establishing repeatable practices for responsible AI use. You will modernize workflows through intelligent automation and human-agent interaction while building practitioner capability across the organization. Key technical competencies include designing and evaluating solutions using generative AI, large language models, agentic systems, retrieval-augmented generation, and context engineering. The role addresses complex identity management challenges in a regulated environment, requiring expertise in privileged access, secrets management, and entitlements to solve problems related to security, scale, and operational efficiency within the core identity infrastructure.
Translate the IAM AI strategy into a prioritized portfolio of measurable transformation outcomes across business and technology functions.
Identify, prioritize, and lead multidisciplinary initiatives from initial discovery through to validated results.
Modernize IAM workflows using intelligent automation, applied AI, and redesigned human-agent interactions.
Establish practical guardrails, repeatable methods, and decision forums to enable responsible AI use at scale.
Build practitioner capability by translating emerging AI capabilities into practical guidance and sustainable working practices.
Develop shared measurement methods for adoption, effectiveness, and value realization across the IAM organization.
Advise senior leadership on investment priorities, operating model implications, and delivery risks.
What we're looking for
Extensive experience leading applied AI transformation in large, complex organizations with accountability for measurable outcomes across multiple functions.
Hands-on depth designing and evaluating solutions using generative AI, LLMs, agentic systems, RAG, and context engineering.
Experience identifying, validating, and prioritizing applied AI opportunities through measurable experiments and scaling successful concepts.
Proven experience mobilizing multidisciplinary teams through the full delivery lifecycle from problem definition to benefits realization.
Demonstrated success coaching technical and non-technical practitioners to build capability and establish repeatable methods.
Experience leading organizational transformation or operating-model change through influence in a matrixed environment.
Exceptional communication and influencing skills to translate AI capabilities and risks across diverse executive and technical audiences.
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline (preferred); experience in financial services or IAM (preferred).
