What you'll do

Identify and define system enhancements to deploy new products and improve process efficiencies.
Resolve high-impact problems by evaluating complex business processes, system flows, and industry standards.
Ensure application designs adhere to the firm's architectural blueprint and technical governance frameworks.
Establish standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation across the development lifecycle.
Serve as a subject matter expert and coach to mid-level developers and analysts.
Assess risks associated with business decisions to ensure compliance with laws and internal policies.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear information for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Master's degree preferred.
6+ years of hands-on experience in application development or Systems Analysis for enterprise-grade software solutions.
Extensive experience in Software Application Programming and Systems Analysis across the full software development lifecycle.
Deep proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot for building high-performance applications in regulated environments.
Hands-on experience with messaging and event-streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka and IBM MQ.
Proficiency working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, including data modeling and query optimization.
Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate engineering workflows and improve code quality.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
